The Summer School is intended for experimental immunologists and scientists who desire to learn how to use mathematical/computational models, in particular differential equation models and their experimental data to address immunological questions.

A limited number of scholarships will be available to cover travel and lodging for attendees.

Graduate students and postdocs are eligible for travel award.

Travel award applications are due by May 1, 2015. Awards are restricted to travel within USA ONLY.

Registration

Registration is limited to 50 participants, comprised mainly of graduate students, postdocs and junior faculty from an immunology or virology background.

Seats are limited. Applicants are encouraged to apply early and will receive email notification of acceptance.

Travel Award

Submission Deadline May 1, 2015.

Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows are eligible to apply. A copy of CV, a short statement of purpose and letter of recommendation from advisor are required for all travel award applicants. The application will be evaluated based on the potential applicability of the computational techniques to ongoing research projects. Poster abstract required for symposium travel award applicants.

Travel awards will be made based on availability of the budget. Breakfasts and lunches are provided by hotel/events. Dinners are on your own. Airline travel supported by the awards must be booked by the CBIM. Please contact Debra Perno (Debra_Perno@urmc.rochester.edu) with any questions.

Summer school awards will be preferentially given to students who submit a poster abstract for the symposium.
